Daughters and Mirrors – Audio Clip

This week we’re featuring a fantastic action point for dads of daughters that Dr. Michelle Watson shared as part of our recent radio special.

Michelle says, “Be aware that most of the time your daughter looks into the mirror, she sees every flaw.” As dads, we typically see our daughters as talented and beautiful, but we aren’t usually good at expressing it to them and helping them combat those thoughts of inadequacy. So … what do you think? Are you good at regularly affirming your daughter? How do you think this idea would affect your relationship? Also: how could do something similar for a son? Share your thoughts on our Facebook page.
