We wanted to bring awareness to the importance of being part of your child’s life. As technology has progressed and has allowed us to connect with each other from almost anywhere in the world, we sometimes forget to connect with those who are right in front of us.
Does it ever feel like your children are growing up without you?
Maybe you are living out the words of that familiar Harry Chapin song, “Cat’s in the Cradle”:
“When you comin’ home, Dad?”
“I don’t know when.
But we’ll get together then, son.
You know we’ll have a good time then.”
Don’t fall for the idea that you can “have a good time then” with your kids. Have a good time now. Invest in your children today. Don’t miss out on those priceless opportunities to bond with your kids and show them that they are a top priority in your life.
