The National Center for Fathering seeks to be a social enterprise achieving financial sustainability through the development and distribution of products and resources that help fathers and father figures engage with their children.
NCF currently operates on a $2.2 million annual budget with funding provided by a combination of charitable contributions from individuals, businesses, and organizations.
In fiscal year 2015, NCF derived 59% of its income from resource sales and training fees, and 4% through corporate, government, and foundation grants. Individuals making one-time, monthly, or quarterly donations to NCF’s mission provided 37% of total revenue.
The National Center for Fathering is organized as a nonprofit corporation and is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as an organization exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(a), 501(c)3, and 509 (a)(1). All gifts and contributions to the National Center for Fathering are fully tax-deductible in accordance with state and federal regulations.
