Dear Friend of Fathers,
The National Center for Fathering would appreciate your consideration and help.
We are in the midst of rebuilding the Center. A little over two years ago, I was encouraged to come back and provide leadership at NCF after being away for over twelve years pursing other avenues of service and ministry. It’s taken some time to gather the pieces together, but beginning this Father’s Day we are focused on rebuilding this needed resource for dads everywhere.
Since getting back in the driver’s seat, we have assembled a team that includes a host of volunteers and both new and familiar faces on the board of directors, and we’ve restarted key parts of our work: sending out weekly fathering emails, doing research and providing limited programming. As volunteers, we have accomplished much, and we’ve unearthed some incredible new (and younger) talent.
We know there’s so much more that we could be doing to inspire and equip fathers and families, and we’re seeking to raise critically necessary seed money to bring the Center’s resources back to premiere status.
To accomplish this, we need your help!
Amazingly, given advancing technology and the foundation of NCF’s rich history, operating the Center will only require about one-fifth of what our budget was years ago. In addition, we are developing new products that will help provide self-sustaining revenue going forward.
There are great opportunities before us, and with your support we can provide timely, focused and fresh insights to help current and future generations of fathers to thrive.
The “Breakthrough” event video included below describes some of our past work and outlines our plans. It’s a bit long, but it will give you more specifics about our objectives for the next year and beyond. You’ll also see some new players and some volunteers who are already doing some incredible work with dads.
Any investment you can make—great or small—will be greatly appreciated and will help immensely. If you have further questions, need more information, or want to speak with me or one of our board members, it would be my privilege to interact more with you.
Thank you for your support of involved, responsible fatherhood. At NCF, we’re working to make a difference and we invite you to be part of making that happen.
